Melasma

Melasma treatment at Venus Aesthetics is dermatologist-led care for hormonal facial pigmentation, the symmetrical brown patches on cheeks, forehead and upper lip. Because melasma behaves differently from ordinary pigmentation, treatment combines medical-grade depigmentation, gentle technology and strict sun protection.

  • Symmetrical cheek patches
  • Post-pregnancy pigmentation
  • Pigmentation that returns every summer
  • Previously worsened by treatments

Eczema & Dermatitis

Eczema care at Venus Aesthetics is dermatologist-led management of eczema and dermatitis: calming active flares with prescription treatment, repairing the skin barrier, and building a personal prevention plan around your triggers, for children and adults.

  • Recurring itchy patches
  • Children’s eczema
  • Hand & contact dermatitis
  • Steroid-worry patients seeking guidance

Psoriasis

Psoriasis care at Venus Aesthetics is dermatologist-led management of plaque psoriasis and related types. Modern treatment plans, topical, procedural and systemic where appropriate, clear visible plaques and extend remission, with honest guidance about this chronic condition.

  • Elbow, knee & body plaques
  • Scalp psoriasis & flaking
  • Nail changes
  • Psoriasis affecting confidence

Warts · Moles · Skin Tags

Venus Aesthetics removes warts, moles, skin tags and milia using doctor-performed, scar-minimising procedures. Every lesion is medically assessed before removal, the check that distinguishes a clinic from a salon, and most removals take just minutes.

  • Skin tags (neck, underarms, eyelids)
  • Viral warts (hands, feet, face)
  • Raised or catching moles
  • Milia & small bumps

Alopecia (Hair Loss)

Alopecia care at Venus Aesthetics starts where effective hair-loss treatment must: diagnosis. Our dermatologists identify your loss type, pattern loss, alopecia areata, telogen effluvium or scarring alopecia, then build a targeted medical plan, adding PRP or exosome therapy where they genuinely help.

  • Sudden patch loss (areata)
  • Heavy shedding (effluvium)
  • Pattern thinning (men & women)
  • Post-partum & post-illness loss

How It Works

One roof: medical care plus aesthetics

Treating a condition and refining its marks usually means two disconnected clinics. At Venus, dermatology and aesthetics work together: the doctor controls the condition first, then treatments like Venus Viva resurfacing refine what it left behind, one coordinated plan.

  • Doctor consultation and diagnosis first
  • Prescriptions managed properly
  • Technology added only where it helps
  • Available at all 8 branches

FAQs

Dermatology, answered honestly

How is melasma different from ordinary dark spots?
Melasma is hormonally driven, symmetrical and heat/sun-reactive, usually across both cheeks, the forehead or upper lip. Ordinary spots are local sun damage. The distinction matters because melasma worsens with treatments that work fine on ordinary pigmentation.
Can melasma be cured permanently?
Melasma is controlled rather than cured, but controlled well, skin stays visibly clear. Expect a 3–6 month fading phase, then simple maintenance. Anyone promising a permanent one-session cure is misleading you.
Can eczema be cured?
Eczema is managed rather than cured, but managed well most patients enjoy long, comfortable flare-free periods. Children often outgrow it. The goal is control: fewer flares, milder flares, faster recovery.
Are steroid creams safe?
Used correctly, right strength, right area, right duration under dermatologist guidance, they’re safe and highly effective. Problems come from unsupervised long-term use; our doctors plan exactly how to use and step off them.
Is psoriasis just dry skin or dandruff?
No, psoriasis is an immune-driven condition where skin cells cycle far too fast, building scaly plaques. That’s why moisturisers alone never clear it; it needs immune-calming treatment, which is dermatologist work.
Can psoriasis be cured?
Not yet, but modern treatment achieves clearance and long remission for most patients, including options that were unavailable a decade ago. Clear skin is a realistic goal; permanent cure claims are not.
Is it safe to remove moles at a clinic?
Yes, provided a doctor assesses the mole first, which is our standard. Harmless moles are removed with scar-minimising technique; anything with suspicious features is handled through the proper medical pathway including lab testing. Never remove moles at salons or home.
Does removal hurt?
No, local numbing means you feel a pinprick and then nothing. Skin tags and small warts are often gone in under a minute each.
